So I was thinking about a long and informative post, however that all went out the window about five minutes ago. Oh well.

So here I sit wide awake. I did get something of a nap this afternoon. There was not too much sleep involved as I was awake early. All evening I sat and watched tv and ate way too much food. I will be so tired in the morning. I’m going to try and fall asleep on the couch because a Comcast tech is supposed to come out here. Yeah, there are still problems with the cable internet. I honestly think it has something to do with the splitter in the apartment or something of the like. I have it running through the recommended set up and everything, however if I have the cable modem hooked directly up to the wall jack it seems to run better. If I do that, however, it means that I cannot have cable tv. Which, because of the funky set up here at the apartment, I have to have cable tv, I’d be paying for something I cannot use.

Well I was offered a first shift position at the new Rockford Meijer. It would be a 6a to 2p shift. I would still be able to work second shift at Mac Grill. This could get me off from third shift, which would be nice. The store does not open until August sometime so I’m not sure when I would start up there.
Harry at Mac Grill told me just to write it all down and He’ll work it out for me. So that is great, I’ll still be able to go in at 4p almost any day of the week. I’ll still tell him that I can’t work Thursday or Friday, I have to have some time to myself.
Theresa was all cool with the change. She’ll be glad just to get me off thirds. I am such a crabby person on this shift.
So provided Scott, the produce team leader at Rockford, can give me Wednesday and Thursday off I’m going to take the position. I know that it is going to be a farther drive, however it will be no further then when I lived in Wyoming and was driving to Cascade.
Along with work other things are starting to fall into place. The next year should prove to be adventuress.

My head totally hurts, I cannot sleep, and I think I had a mental break down at Meijer this morning. Things could be going better however they are not.
It would really be nice if I had a constant internet connection. Comcast is coming out tomorrow to look at the problem.
The new wireless network is up and running. I do think that I am secure enough with it so that others cannot use my internet or hack my systems.
I am thinking about setting up a domain here at the house also. With that I’ll be able to better administer the network. However it is not like I’m going to have a whole lot of administering to do. I think it would just be fun, and practice makes perfect.

I’m tired. I won free candy at work yesterday. I picked up an Almond Joy because they were on sale for 33 cents. If I mail the wrapper in I’ll get sent a coupon for ‘one free 7 oz bag of Jolly Rancher hard candy.’ So I guess 70 cents for the two is not that bad. I’ll just have to find my stamps.
I have to work Mac Grill at 6pm Sunday. However my availability for Sundays ends at 6pm. I could have said something but I guess I really did not want to rock the boat. I’ll just deal with the getting no sleep.
