In pajamas, Frosted Mini-Wheats, peanut butter sandwich, and pillows.
It has been over a week since my last update. I must be getting real lazy. Then again, I have been super busy with moving the office and all. My boss and I traded commutes, he now lives about a mile from the office like I used to. It’s okay though because I got a raise last week, and there is always the hope that gas prices with remain where they are for a nice long time.
I also got a new desk for my office. Carrie wanted her desk back that I was using and this one was abandoned on the loading dock. There is more surface area, and bigger drawers. I even got a new filing cabinet. With a larger desk and a smaller office is sure does look like I have less space. I don’t mind this because now I do not have all of the large files or the sales persons paperwork racks in my office.
Theresa and Drake brought me some picture frames so I can print some photos and hang them up. I should do that next week. Carrie also gave me a few photos that she took back in April of 2007. Drake is crawling on my desk, he’s so darn cute.
Last night Theresa and I watched Get Smart last night. I rented it from the Redbox in our local Walmart. This was my first Redbox rental and everything seems to have gone very well. I still have to take it back today to avoid getting charged for a second day. The first day was free with a promo code that I had. As far as the actual movie goes… I’m glad it was free. The movie was funny, but there was just something about it that didn’t click for me.
Backtracking through the last week brings me to Sunday. I didn’t do anything. I was in my pajamas all day long. I watched TV and played Nintendo and PS3 all day. Theresa’s parents came over for a visit in the evening. We backed a take and bake cheese pizza from Costco. The pizza was impressive.
Saturday morning I watched TV and played video games. I didn’t have Drake because he had spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa Klein. After we picked him up and got home I baked a pizza and ended up watching the Red Wings game.
Moving farther back, in the week brings me to days that I cannot remember what we did. I’m so bad at that. I even forgot to take the trash out this morning. Oops.
Fair Warning: Very random post ahead
LiveJournal is moving from San Francisco to somewhere in Montana. They say it is going to take about 4 hours. I’m not that concerned. They have been giving us notice about the move, but I know there are LJ addicts flipping out.
I buy my dad a Newsweek subscription every year. I paid for it a few weeks ago, but today I decided to check it online to make sure it was paid up and what not. I am not sure when but sometime ago I must have paid for two years. This is what I get online: “Your subscription will expire with the Jan 25, 2010 issue.”
Oh, if you use ZoneAlarm you can get a free copy of ZoneAlarm Pro today only.
Yesterday I sat in our new office space all day waiting for at&t. The window they gave us was 8am to 5pm. I was there from 8am to about 3pm then my boss took my place. They finally showed about around 4pm. So our new phone line and dsl are functional. We should be moving by the end of this week.
The Grand Rapids Griffins were beat by the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday.
Nov. 16 GriffinsHockey.com – A furious second-period rally by the Grand Rapids Griffins fell just short against the Milwaukee Admirals in the Bradley Center on Sunday evening. The Griffins (8-3-2-1) fell behind 4-1 before scoring three goals in 57 seconds in the second period during a 5-4 loss to the Admirals (7-5-0-1). [More]
There is a second chance for the Griffins tonight in Milwaukee before they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday.
The Detroit Red Wings shut out the Edmonton Oilers last night. George Malik has plenty of round up here: Wings-Oilers post-game wrap-up: best game thus far!
Yes, Drake fell asleep standing up, leaning on the table. My mom took this picture yesterday. He’s so strange.
I had forgotten about this until I saw it today browsing some videos. Theresa and I were there, and this is the first time I’ve seen this from the camera’s angle.
